HISTORY

Worldcup 99, Palermo (Italien)

The first world championship in American football took place in Palermo (Italy) from June 24th until July 4th, 1999. Six teams of four continents fighted against each other. Japan and Mexico played in the finale on the end. Japan won in a thrilling game for the first world championship in the overtime. 330 player and coaches altogether took part in the tournament.
